Limited spaces, sign up: walkingbodiesbecoming[at]gmail. com
We aim to make outdoors experiences accessible to people who might face more barriers to them, centering queers, femmes and People of Colour.

Kami Million, an artist, organizer and sex-worker. At the Dirty Art Department Kami Million works on demystifying and fantasizing about the sex-industry.
Pleasure Providers Pillow Talk offers a space where sex-workers and allies can come together to share stories, theory and other forms of writing. In a horizontal setting there will be space to explore past and current knowledge of our industry and create a path of information for those who come after us.
There will be more information soon in the form of posters and a digital event page. For now people can reach me via my e-mail: kikiyesyouloveme[at]gmail.com or send me a DM on instagram @Kikikamillion.
The event will probably take place on the 2nd of June 2023. This is international whores day which will be a good moment to come together to reflect, stand still and eventually celebrate.
Mayomi Basnyaka, an artist/performer from the Studio for Immediate Spaces Department at Sandberg.
This a series of 4 bedtime stories performed by BIPOC storytellers rooted in the decolonial theory of slowing down, designed to rock the community to sleep. These collective naps will be held throughout May, hosted in the cozy Living Room accompanying midnight snacks by Sankrit. Sleep Masks that hold parts of each bedtime story will also be created and gifted to the Living Room for anyone to use to shut out the bright lights and encourage sleep.
If you are an interested in performing or if you have any questions you can reach me at m.basnayaka[at]sandberg.nl. A signup sheet for attending the performances/naps will come in April.
The perforances/naps will be held once a week throughout May. To encourage natural energy dips in our bodies, they will take place at two time options: a 14:00 nap for that post-lunch dip, or, a 19:00 nap for the night owls.
Rachel, from DOGtime
Sometimes, we all need some peace and quiet. Maybe you need to take a personal phone call. Maybe you are over stimulated. Maybe you just need to cry or meditate. Maybe you have the world’s worst hangover and need a nap. It doesn’t really matter why you need peace, it just matters that you need it.
With this project, I will be creating a crowd-sourced list of quiet spaces in and around campus. The list of spaces will be available as both a map and as a walking tour, where we will sit in them and gently reflect on how they make us feel and what quiet means.
rbrennesholtz[at]gmail.com (No need to apply - but there will be posters around campus to collect the quiet spaces and to sign up for the walking tour)
Starting Friday April 7, you’ll be able to submit your quiet spaces around campus
Starting Friday April 28, you’ll be able to sign up for the walking tour (see posters around campus)
Friday May 12, I’ll run a slow walking tour of the quiet spaces. We’ll pause in each one to enjoy it and end by having tea together.
The map will be ready when it’s ready! Working and going to school is a lot 🙂
